Jason A. Juniewicz
Born and raised in Erie, PA, Jason has thrived in a number of creative outlets. He played lead guitar in the band Criminally Insane for four years before he began attending classes at Penn State Behrend in 2003. He took his love of writing, film, comics, music, and pop culture with him into his academic pursuits and demonstrated his passion for them in many of the projects he completed.
Jason has produced and directed a number of his own short films and worked on the Penn State Behrend student newspaper, The Behrend Beacon, both as a writer and graphic designer. During the summer of 2007, Jason was fortunate enough to travel to New York City and intern at the Marvel.com division of Marvel Entertainment, where he continued to hone his skills.
Jason graduated from Penn State Behrend in the fall of 2007, with a B.A. in Communication and Media Studies. In June of 2008 he was hired as Web Production Coordinator for Hospital for Special Surgery's website, www.hss.edu. He currently resides in New York City with his wife and son.
